TEST MG

Professional tests for the marine water analysis, completely made in Italy as all Xaqua products. These products generally are very sensitive to air and light, and the contact with them can damage the test and give wrong results. For this reason Xaqua tests are packaged in controlled atmosphere in alluminium envelopes with three layers, which ensure their integrity until the opening. The bottles are equipped with high precision calibrated dropper: each drop corresponds exactly to 0.05 ml.

How to use the Xaqua magnesium test.

1. Rinse the test tube and the syringe with the water to be analyzed.

2. With the 2 ml syringe pour 2 ml of water to be analyzed into the test tube.

3. Add 4 drops of MG1 solution and shake the test tube.

4. Add 1 measure of MG2 powder and shake the test tube. The water will become fucsia.

5. Take the MG3 solution with the graduated syringe until it’s completely filled. Push the piston down to the level of zero, eliminating the excess solution.

6. Add the MG3 solution to the test tube. Push the piston to release one drop at a time and shake the test tube after each addition. Stop when the color changes from fucsia to blue.

7. View the number of notches of solution added and derive the magnesium content from the comparison table. Each notch is equal to 30 mg/L (example: 40 notch x 30 mg/L = 120 mg/L).

The kit contains:

- one test tube of 20 ml

- one flacon MG1

- one flacon MG2

- one flacon MG3

- one measuring spoon

- one 2 ml syringe

- one high precision graduated syringe

Warnings: This test is specific for the analysis of magnesium in marine water with density of 35°/°°. Store at a temperature between 10 and 30 °C. Protect from humidity, close the packaging after use. Do not swallow, product not intended for human nutrition. Substance classified as dangerous under CE Regulation 1272/2008 CLP.
