Complete overflow system with suction grid and directional water jet system.
Complete overflow system complete with: anti-clogging and easily removable suction grid; directional water jet; hoses*. It can be installed in aquariums with external sump filter and two drain holes. Xaqua In-Out is applied externally, the tank volume remains unaffected. The special inner conformation makes it particularly noiseless and generates a wave effect on the water surface. For maintenance operations, such as cleaning of the tubes or replacement of the o-rings, is sufficient to lower the water level of 4 cm. With Xaqua In-Out there’s no need to drill holes in the bottom glass of the aquarium, excluding all risks of water leakage possible with conventional overflow. It’s made of moulded plastic material with high resistance, non-toxic and shockproof. Maximum pump capacity 2500 L/h. Divisible into two parts to position the IN and the OUT in two different parts of the tank. External dimensions: 12 x 5 x 6 cm.
THE PACKAGE CONTAINS:
- 1 INOUT complete with grid, support, o-rings, 2 nuts and nozzle water exit.
- 1 O’ring IN (Code 4137) and 1 O’ring OUT (Code 150)
- 1 non-toxic black silicon hose for the water inlet. Length: 1.5 mt - ø 14x19 mm*.
- 1 non-toxic black spiral hose for the water drain. Length: 1.5 mt - ø 40x46 mm*.
- 1 drill template made in plexiglass to make holes on the tank.
INSTALLATION:
To ensure a tight seal this device is equipped with O-RING positioned on the outside of their sockets. With INOUT in position the two O-rings must be in contact with the outer side of the aquarium. Insert INOUT in the related holes. Insert the grid support in the water-exit nozzle and tighten the nuts by hand, without the aid of mechanical tools. Apply the grid in the support and the nozzle for the water enter. If insert the nozzle result hard, you can put it in hot water for few seconds. Connect finally the hoses for the water exit/enter, checking there are not losses during the use. It’s important that the holes in the glass are perfectly calibrated to ensure the hermetic water seal. The drill template indicates the distance from the aquarium edge, the distance of the holes and the maximum and minimum diameter. Keep in mind that the larger the diameter of the hole and the more attention you should have to respect the distances indicated. Place the INOUT O-rings so that they are centered in the hole. Clean the hoses before use. Periodically clean the pump and the hoses to mantain the INOUT efficient.
