Powder concentrate calcium supplement of analytical grade seawater.
Calcium is the key element for a proper growth of corals and of the whole benthic fauna. In marine water its value is about 420-450 mg/L. The balanced ratio between magnesium and calcium is about 3:1.The sensitive displacement of this ratio implies the impossibility of maintaining correct the values of magnesium, calcium and carbonates.
Utilization:Increase of value:
18 g in 100 L increase by 50 mg/L the value of calcium. Pour into a container osmotic water, minimum ratio water-product 4:1, dissolve the amount of product which is necessary to increase the value of calcium. Slowly pour the mixture into the aquarium or in the external filter in an area of strong movement. Administration with dosing pumps:
Dissolve 1 kg of calcium powder in 1 L of osmotic water. 10 ml in 100 L, of the obtained solution, increase by 10 mg/L the value of calcium. It is recommended to monitor periodically the calcium and to keep it constant between 420-450 mg/L. The value of football should not increase more than 50 mg/L per 24 hours to prevent damage to the bio-chemical balance of the aquarium. For a greater stability maintain the density at 35°/°°, the Kh between 6-7 °, calcium between 420-450 mg / L and magnesium between 1300/1400 mg/L. The integration of carbonates, calcium and magnesium should always be at a distance from each other. The solutions of calcium, magnesium and KH should NEVER be mixed together in a single container.
